Sara and Nigel’s Engagement Session
Sara and Nigel visited this weekend from Virgina. Naturally, we had a great time and it was finally time to take those engagement photos. We went to Ohiopyle State Park with my parents. Here are some quick favorites… If you are coming to take photos with me, be prepared to sit on any surface. Sara and Nigel make out on a rock. And near a waterfall. Nature and bare feet. I said we had enough photos…until I saw this rock. And this one is of my dad. I’d like to title it “Back Surgery, April 1, 2009.” Nicki, time to comment on this one. We’ll see Sara and Nigel at…

Kelly and Justin’s Engagement Session
Here are the “Ah-Maizing” photos from my session today with Kelly and Justin. I love this screen! So cute! Standard photograph. Nice! This is hot. These fish are great and this photo is surreal. Kelly and Justin did a great job without direction. This pose was all them. We had awesome lighting….. Justin’s signature shoe, Kelly’s pink wedges. Adorable! Kelly and Justin — July 18, 2009!

Laura and Mark’s Engagement Session
I met with Laura and Mark today for their engagement shoot. They were set up on a blind date by some of their co-workers at the University of Pittsburgh. Their wedding is coming up in September! They are SO cute! She smiles like she knows she is being photographed–i LOVE that! HOT! I spend a lot of time on the ground during the photo shoot… Look at this HUGE tree— and the cute people sitting beneath it! I love this shot. I asked them to climb up there for another photo, but I saw this opportunity! See you September 18, 2009!!

Sara’s Bachelorette
Hi! I am in northern Virginia for Sara’s bachelorette. Sara and I met in 2005 when I was working with her roommate, (soon-to-be-sister-in-law) Catriona. In a few months, Sara is going to marry Nigel, a lovely Welshman. This weekend, while Nigel is in Wales, we are celebrating with Sara’s bachelorette on Saturday and a bridal shower on Sunday. At 7:40am, the fun began with a surprise morning run. Sara thought she was going on a run with Catriona and Krissy, but the Shannon, Jamie, and Kelly also arrived. Note that Sara is airborne–this will happen a lot today. Sara said “Oh this is so cool, we should have made t-shirts.”…

Katie and James’ Wedding
Here are some more favorites and a slideshow! Katie didn’t have any rules for the day except that I had to take photos of Layla with her special wedding collar. Katie is so beautiful! James’ parents had this same photograph taken of them when they were just married. This photo was taken by my assistant (and sister), Nicki. Beautiful! First Dance… Chesapeake Bay Foundation at night!!!!
