Looking for a Match

I’m slowly working my way through my 20 lists of 10 in 2010. Through all of our home renovations, the bedroom is one room that has suffered in the area of decorating and furniture.

During March, I went on the long search to find new bedding for our King size bed.  Sadly, it has been covered with queen-sized bedding (except sheets, of course) for the entire 3 years that we’ve owned it.  Time for an upgrade.

Finally last week I found something that I liked.  A large gray duvet cover from Bed, Bath & Beyond, some gold shams, and green accents from Target (Yay for Liberty of London–I’m not even going to link to it because it is one of those 80-day fashion collections).  Sorry about the wrinkles, but his is my bed and not a fashion magazine.

Plus I think it looks great with my sage green walls.

Again, the wrinkles, but I swear I ironed this thing.

Also from my list, a “real” nightstand.  I was previously using a plastic storage unit with 4 drawers, and I’m super excited for this upgrade.

The only problem is that I could only find ONE.  I bought it last week at Marshall’s.  If you see another one, call me or email me and I’ll come and buy it ASAP.  Right now I’m currently annoying every sales person who works in the furniture department at Marshall’s in any western PA store by calling every two days to see if it is in stock.  It’s a bright yellow nightstand, not really that hard to recognize.

I’ll give you an update if I find it.  So cute, right?

I think more than any of your bedding and side tables, we should talk about those beautiful hard wood floors!!!

I agree with Leeann…such an incredible shine! I’ll keep a look out for your nightstand…

I think the wrinkles are fun–they match your wrinkly lampshades perfectly!
