Match Found

Time to revisit my 20 lists of 10 in 2010.  About a month ago, I found the most adorable nightstand I’ve ever seen for my bedroom.  But that was also the problem–there was just ONE.  So I started looking obsessively at every Marshall’s and TJ Maxx in Pittsburgh.

Thankfully, my friends and family were not silent on this issue.  My dad called, basically, every store in Pennsylvania to see if they had one (I even found out he called Carlisle and Harrisburg).  I had suggestions from people on where to look (HomeGoods, Tuesday Morning), lots of text messages and emails checking in (Thanks Jamie, Milla, and Krissy)  and even a picture text from Krissy asking me if I wanted this one…

I didn’t choose that one, but I’m so flattered that people cared so much about my decor.  When I purchased the lone piece, I decided that I did not have to find the match.  Finally, I found one that I liked and I think complemented the style , but contrasted the color.  Here he is!

A perfect pair

I bought the gray one at Ikea, where they have a million of them.  I thought it was funny because the yellow one was so unique.  I did make it my own by changing the knob to this.

Yay, I have grownup furniture in my bedroom now!  Thanks, friends…
