Meghan and Seth’s Greek Orthodox Wedding at Seven Oaks Country Club

Saturday was finally the day for Meghan and Seth to “go to the chapel!”   Meghan, Seth, their bridal party, and their parents were so excited about their wedding day.  Every email message, facebook post, phone call, and meeting we had up until the big day was filled with excitement, emphasis on detail, and the words “love,” “Seth,” and “fun.”  One of my favorite parts of the planning was the emails I would receive from Meghan’s mom always contained the phrase “We’re going to the chapel!”  And on Saturday, they did.

When I arrived, the girls were well on their way to getting ready.  Their hair appointments by Right Angles and makeup by Ciel Cosmetics were finished early, so they were hanging out and having a good time.  It’s easy to relax when wedding planner Jessica Holloway from Holloway Events is there all day making sure everything was perfect.

Meghan looked absolutely beautiful.

The bridesmaids were best friends for a very long time.  They had a similar photo taken as children when they’re wearing similar white sunglasses.

Their wedding ceremony was at Kimisis Tis Tehotokou Greek Orthodox Church in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania.

The ceremony is very beautiful and solemn.  There was a moment of silliness when Seth realized that he had almost been burned several times by the candle.

Happy to be married!

After a few family photos, we all took off to Seven Oaks Country Club for bridal party photos and their wedding reception.  Transportation by Elite Limousine with driver Randy Weaver.

What a great looking bridal party.  I love the combination of green and dark purple.  Flowers by Rosemary Baker: The Wild Rose Boutique.

Each couple had their own golf cart to get to the photo spot on the golf course.  Meghan was driving back to the reception.

For this great reception entrance, Meghan came in with her maiden name on the back of her Steelers jersey.  Seth attached her new name to the back right on the dance floor.  There was so much cheering!

10-02….their wedding date.

Wedding cake by Tammy’s Cakes.  They also had a dessert table, a candy buffet, and a chocolate fountain by Chocolate Fountain Heaven.

The first dance after the parent dances was the Greek Money Dance where people throw money onto the dance floor.  I liked this. You can see the bills on the floor.

DJ Arion kept the dance floor full all night.

Meghan and Seth spent so much time together on the dance floor.

The last dance…..

Congratulations, Meghan and Seth!
