Lindsay and Justin’s ShotBox
Lindsay and Justin know how to have a good time. And their families and friends are pretty good too. Everyone got to shot off in ShotBox last weekend at their wedding at the PPG Aquarium. Lindsay’s dad, JT. Lindsay’s cousin, Dana of Creme Fraiche Design. She created some amazing invitations, wine bottle labels and stationary for this “2011 Leagues Under the Sea” wedding. The awesome crew from Bliss Events. <3 Lindsay wins the award for both “Appearance in the most photos” and credit for “Bringing the most people into ShotBox.” Love this. Double Congratulations, L + J!

Kayt’s Trash the Dress
Kayt and Harry’s wedding had to be one of my favorite weddings this year. Maybe it was because they had a decidedly different wedding with an evening wedding ceremony at Heinz History Center and a cocktails-only reception at Oliver of Twist. This was an extremely popular wedding date and one that I could have booked over and over again if I could clone myself. But there is only one me and I can only shoot one wedding on this date. Lucky for me, I was working with Lindsay and Justin. Their wedding day began at the beautiful new SpingHill Suites Bakery Square. I didn’t realized how much I liked this hotel until I checked out how many photos I included from this trendy new location. Nicki was working with the guys…

Nicki in Nicaragua
Loyal blog readers know that Nicki is my go-to second photographer. She is an excellent shooter, assistant, and all-day wedding trooper. Summer is Nicki’s vacation time since she teaches photography to high school students during the school year. Even though she was working hard with me this summer, she also made some time for a vacation. She had a friend traveling in Central America, so off to Nicaragua she went to join him. I’ve asked Nicki to write a guest post to share her journey. Enjoy! __ Hello everyone! It’s Randi’s favorite sister, Nicki! I just got back from Nicaragua with some pictures I’d like to share and since Randi’s…
