Last year, Ryan and I traveled to Las Vegas for Wedding and Portrait Photographers International’s (WPPI) yearly convention. We had a good time and wanted to return again this year to learn more. I also invited Nicki along, the best sister and second shooter that a girl could ask for.
While I was at it, i invited my parents to join us during the weekend before the convention. So they arrived and we all hopped in the minivan for a trip to the desert. Our favorite spot was Valley of Fire State Park. Here, my dad is interpreting the “beehives” rock formation right behind him.

Four day vacations are the best,especially when you roll 7 days of activity into that same time period.Had such a great time,love the photo’s and the video.
