Kacey and Nate’s Wedding at Succop Conservancy
It’s hard not to think about the weather when you’re having an outdoor wedding. In fact, it’s difficult not to become completely obsessed with the weather. Last Saturday wasn’t even my own wedding and I couldn’t stay away from radar images. “100% chance of rain, thunderstorms and 1″-2″ of rain.” The weather was on everyone’s mind but Kacey and Nate are so much more than the weather. Actually, I was shocked to see that their attitude about the wedding transcended the weather. They were determined to have the best wedding day ever no matter the weather. As they were getting ready for the day, the weather miraculously cleared and the 2″ of rain never arrived.
When I met Kacey and Nate for their first interview, they made me feel like I invented the concept of a First Look ceremony (which I most certainly did not). As they approached each other for the first time on Saturday, their wedding party was cheering for them from the second story of the mansion. When they met I heard things like “I couldn’t have waited another minute to see you” and “I’m so happy that i am seeing you now.”
The wedding was held at Succop Conservatory in Butler, Pennsylvania. Arioso Trio provided beautiful music for the ceremony and Hearts and Flowers designed the great bouquets and arrangements. Nicki and I spent a lovely cool day working with John and Jim from Digital Keepsakes. Scott from Magic Moments Disc Jockey Service provided music for the fun outdoor reception featuring lots of dancing, mingling, lawn games and a fire pit.
Each time I asked Nate how he was doing, he responded with answers like “Fantastic!” “Terriffic!” “This DAY is AMAZING!” He was right. It was a great day!!!

Randi! What a beautiful job. I am “in love” with that ring shot, I love how you can see all the little strings on the rope, there are so many favorites on this one but the B&W of their reflection is gorgeous. Awesome job!
