Kelly and Brian’s Wedding at the Fairmont Pittsburgh
Last weekend, Kelly and Brian had a beautiful October wedding. The weather wasn’t great, but their wedding was wonderful! Before the rain and the wind from incoming Hurricane Sandy, they were married in a Catholic ceremony at beautiful Saint Paul Cathedral. After a few portraits at nearby Mellon Institute, they rejoined their family and friends in a reception celebration at the Fairmont Pittsburgh. Their great wedding day required a lot of planning and preparation. Thankfully, Ashley from Hello Productions was there all day to make sure that every detail was perfect. Nicki and I were delighted to work with Robert Charles Wedding Films for the first time at this wedding too. I began my day with Kelly, her…

Lisa and Andy’s Wedding at Pine Lakes Lodge
Lisa and Andy were married last week at Pine Lakes Lodge in Ohio. They love being outdoors so much that they each made it part of their wedding vows. Right now, they are celebrating their new marriage with an adventure honeymoon in the Pacific Northwest. For two people who are so in touch with the natural environment, it is not surprising that they had a perfect October day for their outdoor wedding. Nicki and I had the honor of photographing this beautiful outdoor wedding. During the ceremony, I climbed down a hill behind the wedding party so I could get a great view of Lisa and Andy giving their vows. Though I could get…

The park was the site of their second date and the place where Tim proposed to Heather under a secret waterfall. Getting to the proposal spot required some hiking. Not walking. Hiking. And climbing too. I love to hike. Hiking is never a problem, but in this case I was carrying a lot of heavy and expensive camera equipment so I had an extra challenge traversing the slippery rocks. But Heather did those same hikes in an adorable dress and shoes so how…

Karen and Jamie’s Wedding at The Twentieth Century Club
Karen’s family are wedding experts. Though none of them work in the wedding industry, all 4 of Karen’s sisters and both of Karen’s brothers are married. Karen and Jamie were married in the same church as all of her sisters and one of her brothers. When one of the bridesmaids asked “Where do we go to wait for the ceremony?” another one said “Ask someone in the family–they’ve done this before.” Even though they have all been to many weddings in this church, everyone was just as excited for Karen and Jamie as they must have been the first time they watched someone else come down the aisle. Karen and…
