Engagement

Heather and Tim’s Engagement at McConnell’s Mills State Park

Sometimes it is hard to choose the location for the engagement photos, but Heather and Tim required no decision. They had the perfect spot–McConnell’s Mills State Park. The park was the site of their second date and the place where Tim proposed to Heather under a secret waterfall.

Getting to the proposal spot required some hiking. Not walking. Hiking. And climbing too. I love to hike. Hiking is never a problem, but in this case I was carrying a lot of heavy and expensive camera equipment so I had an extra challenge traversing the slippery rocks. But Heather did those same hikes in an adorable dress and shoes so how can I complain? There were no casualties or injuries and I got to wear my hiking boots to an engagement shoot.

I had a great time. Congratulations, Heather and Tim!
