Heather and Jonathan’s Wedding at Heinz History Center and Pittsburgh Opera
Heather and Jonathan live in Boston but they both grew up in Pittsburgh. Their families live in Pittsburgh so they decided to return for their non-traditional, industrial-looking wedding last weekend. I was so honored to be a part of this unique event full of happy, excited people!
Nicki and I spent a few minutes setting up the First Look where Heather and Jonathan would see each other for the first time on their wedding day. As soon as we gestured for Heather to move towards Jonathan, she sprinted towards him as I barely had time to get in position for my shot. She moved fast in those wedding shoes!
When they were joined by their wedding party and their parents, we toured the city of Pittsburgh and made stops at the Roberto Clemente Bridge, the 33rd St Railroad bridge and the Heinz History Center.
Heather and Jonathan were married in an emotional ceremony in the Great Hall of the Heinz History Center. They celebrated with family and friends at their wedding reception at Pittsburgh Opera where their favorite band Good Brother Earl made sure everyone was entertained. The reception looked great too thanks to floral design by Posy Pittsburgh.
I began my time Heather and her bridesmaids as they readied themselves at the Hampton Inn. Nicki started her day with Jonathan and the groomsmen at The Golden Razor where Jonathan was treated to a close shave.
It was such a fantastic day to spend with SUCH HAPPY people. Good luck getting past these gorgeous smiles.
Congratulations, Heather and Jonathan!!!
