Leigh and Dave’s story begins at the University of Pittsburgh where they met at law school. They are smart, attractive, organized, fun, and have terrific families! All of those characteristics defined their wedding day, and it’s no surprise they have such a great time together.
Leigh and Dave were married at Saint Maria Goretti on Liberty Avenue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Even though their wedding was scheduled to be held at Saint Mary of the Mount, some problems with the building’s roof caused them to change ceremony location (and time) just weeks before their wedding. They quickly realized that a change in location means little to the purpose of their wedding day.
As they exited the church, Dave’s fellow members of the Marine Corps formed a sword arch for Leigh and Dave before we departed for a portrait shoot at Schenley Park. As originally planned, they were greeted by family and friends for their wedding reception at the beautiful Carnegie Music Hall Foyer. Guests enjoyed watching their first dance from cocktail hour held in the balcony. I loved seeing them celebrating with their family and friends all the way through the night’s last dance.
Special thanks to Ryan and Ross who helped capture this wonderful wedding day. We are honored to be a part of this wedding.
Congratulations, Leigh and Dave!
