Kristen and Daniel’s Wedding at Heinz History Center and Trinity Cathedral
A wedding day means different things to different couples. Some couples are anticipating walking down the aisle, some are focused on tiny details, and others are so excited to celebrate (and feel relief) at their wedding reception. Kristen and Daniel were excited about their very personal wedding ceremony. They both work for churches and their wedding ceremony was performed by one of Daniel’s closest friends. But they also really enjoyed dancing all night at their wedding reception!
Kristen and Daniel were married at Trinity Cathedral in downtown Pittsburgh. Prior to the ceremony, Kristen requested a popular wedding photo where the bride and groom each stand on the side of an open door. They are unable to see each other, but they can hold hands and share a few words. Kristen’s expression while sneaking past the groom’s room and out to the open door yielded one of my favorite photos of the day! While it was a staged moment, Kristen and Daniel were quite emotional.
After their very personal ceremony, Kristen and Daniel ran through thier bubble exit and off to the Heinz History Center for their wedding reception. We paused for some wedding portraits behind the Heinz History Center before they made their grand entrance into the ballroom. Guests enjoyed dinner from Common Plea and beautiful decor by Hens and Chicks. Once the party started, Three Rivers Entertainment: In the Mood kept the guests dancing all night long! I was pleased to be joined by photographer Sean Means and the cinematography crew from Evermark Studios.
Congratulations, Kristen and Daniel! It was an honor to watch you truly enjoy your wedding day!
