Ashley and Shawn’s Wedding at the Pittsburgh Athletic Association

Ashley and Shawn haven’t been to a lot of weddings, but they knew that a lot of traditions weren’t for them. When I described my approach to a wedding day, Ashley told me that they didn’t have a bridal party and weren’t too keen on bride and groom preparation photos. I really appreciate that Ashley, like me, believes that having a wedding should be fun. If it is stressful, why go to all of the trouble?

Ashley and Shawn planned their wedding day locations so everything was within walking distance. They got dressed at the Wyndham Pittsburgh, and from there walked to Heinz Chapel for their wedding ceremony and Pittsburgh Athletic Association for their wedding reception. From the first time I spoke with Ashley, she told me that reception entertainment was really important to her since she works in the music industry. Everyone had a great time at the reception with entertainer (and Frank Sinatra impersonator) Nick Fiasco and a fantastic live performance by No Bad Ju Ju.

After seeing all of their wedding photos, I think that Ashley and Shawn truly enjoyed their guests and the music.
