Tabetha and Peter’s Mexican War Streets Engagement Photos | Pittsburgh Wedding Photographer
Meet Tabetha and Peter. They met at work. Peter was teaching full time at a local school and Tabetha was student teaching there when they met. They had to take some time to get to know each other since the school’s policy did not allow dating between staff members. But love knows no school policy. I am so thrilled to be photographing their wedding this summer at Lingrow Farm! Here are their engagement photos from the Allegheny Commons Park and the Mexican War Streets area of Pittsburgh. Beautiful smiles! Tabetha was a litlle nervous because we were pressed for time during the shoot (and she had taught 6-8th graders all…

Birth Day! Welcome, Ben Voss.
In May, I found out I was going to be an Aunt for the first time. I was very happy and called my sister to tell her. I said “Guess who is going to be an Aunt?” She said “Me?” Whoops!! I said, “No, me!” I’ll be more mindful of these statements in the future. Ryan’s oldest brother, Chris, and his wife, Ana were expecting their son on December 19th. Ryan and I traveled to Minnesota for the holidays with plans to leave on 12/27. Surely we would see this baby by then. But, No. The baby had other plans. Ben Voss arrived on 12/27 at 7:10am. Ryan and I…

Laura and Mark’s Awesome Wedding
Hi! On Friday, one of my best friends, Laura, got married! She married a lovely man named Mark whom she met on a blind date set up by some Administrators at work. Mark and Laura both work at the University of Pittsburgh. Mark works with Pitt Womens’ Basketball and Laura is a Clinical Instructor and Aerobics Coordinator working on her PhD. They were both nervous about going on a blind date, but obviously, things worked out. Also, the matchmakers were both able to come to the wedding! You, blog readers, might remember them from their engagement session. I have known Laura since we were 13 and in middle school. She…

Laura and Don’s Engagement Session
Last week I traveled to Smock, Pennsylvania (near Uniontown) for Laura and Don’s engagement photography session. Laura was a co-worker and friend of mine when I was working as an engineer. She is a wonderful landscape architect and her fiance, Don, is an elementary school teacher. These photos were taken on their beautiful property on a sun drenched evening. For real, this is where they live! Laura’s favorite purple flower is on the left hand side of the photo in the middleground. We took this photo in the shade of a nearby barn. So romantic! Laura’s ring is stunning. Good job, Don! Enjoy your beautiful home, you two!

Greystone Fields Wedding – Lexi and Josh
You may remember Lexi and Josh from their engagement session that I photographed back in June. Their wedding was Saturday and it was a blast. When I arrived in the morning, I learned that the girls were all locked out of the house when when they returned from having their hair done. Good thing they had plenty of time and weren’t slowed at all! Lexi dressed and ready to roll…. Only Lexi’s mom, Donna, and bridesmaid, Jamie had seen the bride in her dress or had seen the dress at all. The dress was a surprise to everyone else, including Dad. Clearly, they are all impressed. Bubbles after the ceremony…
