Christine and Shawn’s Wedding at the Heinz History Center
When I met Shawn and Chris, I was pleasantly surprised at the unique vision they shared for their wedding day. They both described how their families were so important to them, so they wanted to focus on photography of their families as well as everyone having a great time. As the final wedding to end the regular season, Ryan and I had the extreme pleasure of photographing Christine and Shawn’s wedding at the Heinz History Center. As usual, I started with Christine and her bridesmaids getting ready. Christine’s makeup by Greg from Lightko Studios They elected to see each other before the wedding in a first look meeting. Jen and Marc’s Wedding at Heinz Chapel and the Heinz History Center
Jen and Marc met while they were students at the University of Pittsburgh, and on Saturday, they were married after being together for seven years. They wanted their wedding day to be “a really fun party,” and that is what they got! First, they exchanged vows and rings at beautiful Heinz Chapel. Then, the bridal party stopped for lunch at Primanti Brothers in the South Side, and finally to one of the best places in Pittsburgh to have a really fun party–Heinz History Center. I began my day photographing Jen and her bridesmaids and “Men of Honor” downstairs in Heinz Chapel. Ryan was upstairs and got this fantastic shot of…

Erin and Michael’s Winter Wonderland Wedding at Wisp Resort
Last weekend’s wedding was awesome and exhausting (from having so much fun)! I have known Erin since we were 15, and just met Michael in 2007. They had been friends for years, but sparks started to fly when Erin went to NYU for grad school and Michael was stationed in the Army in Alaska. In summer of 2008, they went on vacation to Thailand where Michael proposed during A RIDE ON AN ELEPHANT! How cool is that?!?!?! During their engagement, Erin paid many visits to the Tundra and they both endured a hard year when Michael was stationed in Iraq for a year of their engagement. This summer, Ryan and…

Jill and Todd’s November Wedding – Wedding Photographer Pittsburgh
On Saturday I joined Jill and Todd for their wedding at the beautiful St Philips Church in Crafton, Pennsylvania. Jill got ready at her parents’ house and she looked spectacular! Still can’t believe this November weather. Jill holding a photo of her mom preparing for her own wedding. We took a similar photo with Jill standing in front of this same dresser that belonged to her grandmother. Jill and Todd to the altar! We had nearly two hours between the end of the ceremony and the beginning of the cocktail hour, so we made three stops for photographs. The first stop was at the West End Overlook. Jessi and Benjamin are married! – Wedding Photographer Pittsburgh
On Saturday I traveled to the south hills to photograph Jessi and Benjamin’s wedding. Perhaps you remember Jessi and Benjamin in July from their Engagement session in the Strip District from July. They are SO MUCH FUN and I was very happy to be with them. Jessi’s awesome dress. Jessi putting on her beautiful dress. I love Keagan on the phone. Real laughs Jessi and Benjamin saw each other at a private meeting before the wedding. They got to spend a few moments alone. Truly a rare occasion on a wedding day. Once they had their private moments, we took a TON of photos with the two of them together.…
