    Fun, Part II

Day 2 of this midweek getaway. Erin and I meet Kent, Stephanie, and Josh for lunch. Shopping at UNIQLO Waiting for Jenn Pazdon in the street Paz on the phone. This radio belongs to Jenn’s new roommate, Marshall. Its an awesome Lasonic shoulder-style old school boombox….except it hold an ipod instead of a cassette tape. Neat. Jenn checking her phone in some bar. It was super dark. Jenn and I in a bathroom in a bar after we met Janna. Fun. Thanks to Erin for letting me come on her trip and Nina for putting me up! And Kent, Stephanie, and Josh for lunch. And Jenn for nighttime fun!

    Living the Dream

Hi. Since I am self-employed (yay!), I decided to invite myself on Erin’s trip and come with her to New York City this Wednesday and Thursday. Yes, I am living the dream. Here we are in the car on our drive here. Nina is kind enough to host us at her apartment. Here is the view from her living room (same view from our guest room). Self portrait after dinner while Erin and Nina were philosophizing over the laptops. More philosophizing among Hirschfeld…”margaritas, margaritas” See you tomorrow…

    Invitation to Fabulousness

Hi. My clients sometimes send me invitations to their wedding. Its super sweet and I usually try to use the invitation in a photo during the wedding day. Here are some that I’ve gotten this year already. Katie and James, May 9, 2009 This invite was actually gray and white, so pretty. Kelly and Drew, June 27, 2009. Blue. Amy and Jay, June 13, 2009…..next weekend! Black and white with pink. Sara and Nigel, August 15, 2009. Black and white. They sent their invites already since those birds have a lot of guests coming from Wales! Kelly and Justin, July 18, 2009. Pink and black and white. This one was…

    Lexi and Josh’s Engagement Session

I met Josh when I was working as an engineer. I also met Ben, Lexi’s brother. Ben used to call Josh “FBIL” meaning “Future-Brother-In-Law,” though Josh was not yet engaged. Please enjoy Lexi and Josh’s engagement photos. Josh may or may not be sitting next to poison ivy. Can you believe they live right next to this wooded area? Beautiful! I love it! We didn’t have much sunlight due to cloudiness, but there was a bit. Lexi is always showing off her ring. Reflection in a lake. Awesome sunset. If only real flowers grew diamond rings… Until August 29, 2009, good luck Lexi and Josh!

    Randi Voss, Full Time Photographer

Hi Everyone! Today, June 3rd, is my first full day as a full time professional photographer and it is FANTASTIC! I finally beat the “should monster” (as Jenn Pazdon calls him) and did what I WANTED to do and quit my day job. This decision took time, but now it is the most obvious thing I should be doing with my life. Thank you to my clients for hiring me and believing in me and to my family for always “looking at this.” To celebrate, here are some photos of yours truly…look at this! Photos by Nicki Dembski. Look how happy photography makes me feel! Cheers to a new adventure…
