DeAnna and Tony’s Engagement Session in the Strip District
Oh DeAnna and Tony. When they came over to my home for an interview, the 2.5 hour conversation passed quickly through interesting subjects (for all of us) like their wedding, their friends, and food. They are both foodies and what better place for their engagement photos that Pittsburgh’s center for food–the Strip District.
I had an absolutely wonderful time taking these photos. Tony was especially hilarious for some of their first photos.
Has anyone seen this mural lately? It’s new (near 20th and Penn) and it’s looking pretty good. But not as good as these two.
They are so playful and really enjoy each other.
Oh 50mm lens, you are my favorite.
Well, we took some cute, kissing photos here too, but the shadow puppet animals had so much more personality.
A suggestion we didn’t take.
My favorite kind of light. DeAnna and Tony have named this “angel light.”
We ended our shoot at their favorite place in the Strip–La Prima Espresso. Maybe you’ll see them there on weekend mornings……..
Congratulations DeAnna and Tony! I am so excited for your wedding next July!

Randi, I love this session in the Strip! The photo of them with the hand puppets and the sun behind is gorgeously lit.
