Jacqui and Rich – Pittsburgh Anniversary Photographer
Earlier this summer, I was at a bridal shower for Laura when I heard some news about an old classmate, Jacqui. I went to High School with Jacqui and probably haven’t seen her since. Jacqui was diagnosed with Myelogenous Proliferative Disorder/Leukemia on 6/3/09. I immediately found her on Facebook and started to read her story. You can read about Jacqui’s story on her website hosted by CaringBridge.org. She is married to a wonderful man, Rich, who is kind and very supportive. I really felt like I couldn’t do much to help Jacqui, but I soon learned (through lots of comments posted on facebook) that she was a fan of my…

Lisa and Mike’s Engagement Photos
I met Lisa and Mike for their engagement session at the Morning Glory Inn on Pittsburgh’s Southside. Dave and Nancy (Owners AND Innkeepers) at the a Morning Glory Inn were very accommodating and friendly and let us take these photographs in their courtyard. Lisa and Mike were excellent and very easy to work with. Asking them to kiss was not a problem and they told me that they often gross out their friends with the affection. Sorry for their friends, but makes my job easy! Lisa has a serious case of Fabulous Boots. Nancy was nice enough to give us a tour of the inn. We grabbed this shot on…

Laura and Don’s Engagement Session
Last week I traveled to Smock, Pennsylvania (near Uniontown) for Laura and Don’s engagement photography session. Laura was a co-worker and friend of mine when I was working as an engineer. She is a wonderful landscape architect and her fiance, Don, is an elementary school teacher. These photos were taken on their beautiful property on a sun drenched evening. For real, this is where they live! Laura’s favorite purple flower is on the left hand side of the photo in the middleground. We took this photo in the shade of a nearby barn. So romantic! Laura’s ring is stunning. Good job, Don! Enjoy your beautiful home, you two!

Pittsburgh Engagement Photos – Erin and Dan
Hi! Last weekend I met Erin and Dan downtown for their engagement photo shoot. We started in the Cultural District and finished up at the Renaissance Hotel. Erin is my second cousin (my dad and her mom are cousins). I’m excited to photograph their wedding this October at St Therese Church in Munhall and reception at Pittsburgh’s Grand Hall. It was windy at times, and Erin was wearing this little dress. I thought it made for a fun photo. Photo by Ryan. He was there to help me carry things (and go out for ice cream when we were finished). And of course, the pose that makes everyone look good.…
