Karen and Jamie met through mutual friends. They both moved to Chicago independently after college and started dating after attending the same Christmas party. They’ve lived in different areas around Chicago and were eager to have photos taken in the city where they spend most of their time. They’re planning their wedding that will take place in Pittsburgh this fall at Westminster Presbyterian Church followed by a reception at The Twentieth Century Club. Barbie and Chuck’s Engagement Session with the Pittsburgh City Skyline
Barbie and Chuck have a unique engagement story. They had talked about getting married for a while and Chuck had secretly bought a ring. One evening, Barbie was sitting on the couch with pajamas and wine, studying for an exam. She jokingly bet Chuck $10 that they would not be getting engaged that night. A few minutes later, Chuck pulled the coffee table out from under her feet and asked her to get up so that he could proposed. Though she thought “[he] can’t be serious,” he was. And she lost the bet. Jill & Mike’s Engagement Session at the Pittsburgh Field Club
Jill and Mike attended the same college, but didn’t really know each other. They reconnected years later in Erie, where they were both visiting, and the rest is history. They’re getting married next March and I’m excited to photograph their wedding at Heinz Chapel (where Jill’s parents were married) and the Twentieth Century Club. Megan and Neal’s Engagement Photos on Pittsburgh’s North Shore
Megan and Neal are new to Pittsburgh. Megan is a graduate student at University of Pittsburgh and her fiance, Neal, is working in Pittsburgh too. They are making their way around the city, trying new restaurants and fun places to go. We met on Monday near PNC Park and Pittsburgh’s North Shore for their engagement photos. They are planning their wedding for June 2011 in their hometown of Toledo, Ohio at an art museum.
