Barbie and Chuck’s Wedding at Christ United Methodist Church
I still remember the first time I met Barbie and Chuck when they were planning their wedding. The reason that I remember them so well is that Barbie mentioned some key things that I really find important. They cared about having a getting married, having a good time (with good friends), with good food (and drinks), and photography. “The important things” they said. Each time I would talk to them as their wedding day neared, the message I got from them was the same.
And thanks to their hard work, the “important things” remained important. Barbie and Chuck were married on Saturday in a ceremony at Christ United Methodist Church in Pittsburgh’s South Hills. Their wedding reception was held just moments away at Holy Cross Greek Orhtodox Church. Their cake was provided by Signature Desserts and catering by All the Best Catering.
Nicki and I started our day of photography while everyone was getting dressed at Crowne Plaza Pittsburgh South. The girls had already had their hair done by Brooke Rockwell and Jessica Tyler was just finishing their makeup. The lighting in the hotel room was lovely and everyone was relaxed and ready to have a good time–a great day!
I like when I can catch a special detail during my documentation of the day.
