Erin and Dan – Pittsburgh’s Grand Hall at the Priory
Erin and Dan. Erin and I are relatives. Her mom and my dad are cousins. Erin saw me at a Christmas Party in 2008 and asked me to reserve her wedding date. Even though she was not engaged, she and Dan had been dating for a long time and were certainly on their way down the aisle. And down the aisle they went on Friday! Here are my faves from the day….
Blog followers may recognize them from the June engagement session at the Renaissance Hotel.
You can’t fake this kind of happiness, nor did they need to.
Erin looked gorgeous and those eyes are exploding right out of the photo.
There is the smallest waiting room ever in the back of the church. Each of the bridesmaids had to back out one by one so that I could get through to Erin. Beautiful light!
Ryan spent some time with the groomsmen before they had to report to the church for usher duties. I admit that I am jealous of this shot.
Dan with best man, Mike, waiting for the ceremony to begin.
LOOOVEE this. Erin’s smile is radiant.
So, it was raining….but what can you do?!?! Erin and Dan were totally game (and therefore everyone else was too, since they are a good bridal party) for photos outside. She had to bustle her dress before heading outside. Putting a wedding dress into the bustle is similar to diffusing a bomb, I would assume.
No peeking….
Ok, peeking! But I love how Erin is laughing through the photo.
Does this photo look familiar? With different weather, Ryan and I used the same location in September at Laura and Mark’s Wedding. Erin and Dan loved the location so we hopped out there for some photos before heading to the reception.
Time for a kiss. They were really good sports about standing in the Pittsburgh misty rain.
Bride and groom heading into the reception at Pittsburgh’s Grand Hall. Transportation by Elite Corporation.
During the first dance.
Wow. This was a shot of everyone there (with the known exceptions of me, Ryan, and sister Nicki). Oh and everyone is wearing a mask.
Erin and Dan chose a masquerade theme. These masks did double duty as name cards and favors.
During the last dance. Enjoying entertainment by Dan and John Mascio.
Ok in the next frame, they are in a lip lock, but I liked this one better.
Congratulations Erin and Dan!!!

LOVE the shot of them kissing under the umbrella. Well done Randi. And how about that dress… beautiful, especially when it’s bustled to avoid the rain!
