Katie and Matt’s Wedding at Seven Oaks Country Club
This holiday weekend, I had the pleasure of photographing Katie and Matt’s wedding at Seven Oaks Country Club in Beaver, Pennsylvania. Katie and Matt met and started dating in college. They both share a love of the outdoors, a deep faith, and height. Just kidding about the height! Enjoy some of my favorite photos from their wedding.
We met Katie and Matt at the church where they both prepared for their wedding ceremony. Photo by Nicki.
Matt and his brother (also Best Man), Dan, anxiously waiting for the ceremony to begin.
Thanks to Pastor Cathy Poff for allowing us to take photos during the ceremony. I wouldn’t have liked to miss this moment.
One of my favorite photos from the day–a candid shot right before the receiving line. I love how the some of the guests are looking right at them!
Love this one.
And this one!
Some of the bridal party brought the bubbles to our photo shoot at Seven Oaks. Bubbles AND great light!
When I met Katie and Matt the first time, they told me that THIS was going to be the entrance into their wedding reception. I’m so glad they practiced outside first. I definitely don’t get to see this every wedding.
Bam! Photo by Nicki.
Get it, girl.
First dance photo by Nicki.
Photo by Nicki with her new 85mm lens. (Nicki, a huge NFL fan, calls it “Ocho Cinco.” bwwahhahahhaaa)
Bridesmaids tearing up during the father-daughter dance.
DJ Scott Miser of Magic Moments Disc Jockey Service got everyone on the dance floor for this excellent party.
At one point, everyone was running towards the center of this circle (me) and screaming. I’m sure to have nightmares about this.
Congratulations, Katie and Matt on your great wedding! I hope that you have a great time on your honeymoon to the Canadian Rockies.
Randi – wow! These photos have to be among my most favorites of your weddings this year. Surely because Katie and Matt are just beaming in every single one. I am nuts about the composition of Matt and his brother waiting for the ceremony to begin. And the light in the wide angle vertical bride and groom portrait. And the framing of the second first dance photo is awesome. Nicki, nice work too! I am sure you will love ocho cinco.
I decided not to do the bouquet toss at my own wedding, and the only times I regret that decision is when I see an awesome shot of the toss on your blog like the one here!
Thank you so much Randi!!! These pictures are amazing. We have gotten so many compliments from our friends and family and you truly did an outstanding job. We absolutely loved every minute of working with you and would highly recommend you to any prospective brides and grooms. What a great way to re-live our wedding day!
