Jen and Dave’s Wedding at Longue Vue Club

Jen came to meet with me about her wedding photography with more than a year to go before her wedding. She had attend a wedding that I photographed and was referred to me a second time by one of her awesome bridesmaids who is long-time friends with my sister. So basically, we got off to a great start. Later, I met Dave and we also got along great too since he is a kind and easy-going guy who clearly cares about Jen’s happiness.

Jen and Dave chose the beautiful Longue Vue Club for their wedding ceremony and reception. They readied themselves at the Longue Vue Club before they shared a First Look ceremony in the entrance tunnel under the beautiful, historic building. We took a quick trip to return to Jen’s old neighborhood, Highland Park, for photos with the wedding party and more photos with Dave. We returned later to Longue Vue Club where they were married in a sunny ceremony in front of their family and friends.

Nicki joined me for a wonderful day of photography. I wanted to give her credit for moving Dave and his attendants out of this beautiful room so Jen could get into her dress here (instead of the windowless locker room). Nicki is always a joy to have by my side on a wedding day; helping the bridal party pin boutonnieres, anticipating the next big photographic moment, and attending to the needs of the bride and groom. We were joined by Megan of Pictory Productions (who agrees that Nicki is a fantastic wedding resource).
