Jamie and Jeremy planned for a beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony at the newly refurbished Walled Garden at Mellon Park and a reception at Pittsburgh Center for the Arts. They only got to see half of their wedding planning come to fruition due to unpredictable Pittsburgh weather. Importantly, they DID get married in a beautiful ceremony on the Grand Staircase at Pittsburgh Center for the Arts. Being a wedding photographer in Pittsburgh is great. I love meeting new, happy people, working with them to plan their wedding photography, and creating special memories with photography. The good and bad thing about being a wedding photographer is that I hope I don’t have repeat clients. Well, after the weddings, I do hope that clients will hire me to photograph their babies, families, and entire lives, BUT I really want them to have only one wedding. Saturday was a beautiful day for Tatiana and Marc‘s wedding. They grew up just a few blocks away from each other, but didn’t start dating until they were in college. After flirting in class (to no surprise of their friends), they finally got together. I was honored to photograph their wedding in the South Hills of Pittsburgh at St Sylvster Parish in Brentwood. Pearl Harbor and Rainbows
A little more from our trip to Hawai’i, even though we are back in Pittsburgh. Getting to Pearl Harbor early was a key to having a good time there. It rains often, in Hawai’i, if only for a minute, but the weather moves quickly… First up, a rainbow. We saw so many rainbows here! Taking the ferry to the USS Arizona memorial. The memorial. The battleship is still below the monument. And still leaks 1-2 quarts of oil per day into the harbor. A crew member from the USS Arizona had recently passed.
