Shannon and Derek’s Engagement Photos in the Strip District
Sometimes, it rains on your engagement session. And sometimes it rains on your wedding day. While I can’t control when it rains (and IF I could, I would probably change careers, become corrupt, and make an insane amount of money), I can control when I’m going to photograph people for their Engagement Session. If you are flexible on when your engagement photos can happen, then I can be too. Sometimes there is only one day or time when we can get together, and I’m confident that I can make beautiful, fun photos for you at that time, no matter what the weather. But other times, when there is cloud-to-ground lightening…

Tina and John’s Engagement Photos at Allegheny Commons West Park
This past winter, Tina was looking for a wedding photographer. She put out notice on facebook….”John & I need suggestions for wedding photographers….please!!” Thankfully, for me, Tatiana responded that she was working with me for her wedding and linked to my website. We met a short time later, had a great connection, and started working together! Tina and John met when they were both pursuing their MBA at Duquesne University. John was totally smitten with Tina when he learned from her where you could park for free near campus. He’s getting much more out of the deal now than simply free parking. We took a few photos at Duquesne, then…

Sara and Mike’s Engagement Photos
Being a wedding photographer in Pittsburgh is great. I love meeting new, happy people, working with them to plan their wedding photography, and creating special memories with photography. The good and bad thing about being a wedding photographer is that I hope I don’t have repeat clients. Well, after the weddings, I do hope that clients will hire me to photograph their babies, families, and entire lives, BUT I really want them to have only one wedding. Since the same people can’t get married year after year, I liken “repeat customers” to those who received a personal referral for my services. Sara and Mike are just those kind of…

Tabetha and Peter’s Mexican War Streets Engagement Photos | Pittsburgh Wedding Photographer
Meet Tabetha and Peter. They met at work. Peter was teaching full time at a local school and Tabetha was student teaching there when they met. They had to take some time to get to know each other since the school’s policy did not allow dating between staff members. But love knows no school policy. I am so thrilled to be photographing their wedding this summer at Lingrow Farm! Here are their engagement photos from the Allegheny Commons Park and the Mexican War Streets area of Pittsburgh. Beautiful smiles! Tabetha was a litlle nervous because we were pressed for time during the shoot (and she had taught 6-8th graders all…

Tatiana and Marc | Strip District Engagement Photography
Tatiana contacted me after I photographed a wedding for a friend that she knew from work. We met at a coffee shop and I got to know her and her mom. Her fiance, Marc, as away at school, and he wasn’t able to join us. Luckily, engagement photos were high on their wedding to-do list, so I got a chance to meet him last weekend. It was definitely warmer than we expected it to be at the beginning of April in Pittsburgh! Tatiana and Marc visit the Strip District in Pittsburgh often on the weekends, so we decided it was a good place to grab some photos (even better since…
