Trisha and Eric’s Wedding at South Hills Country Club

On Saturday, I had the pleasure of shooting Trisha and Eric’s Wedding at South Hills Country Club.  This was not a wedding I had booked myself, but one I where was working as the second shooter for the lovely and talented Christina Montemurro.   She posted some photos on Sunday and I didn’t want to make Trisha and Eric wait too long before sharing a few of my own.  Christina was kind enough to join me for a few weddings last year, so I wanted to return the favor for her.

It was definitely strange for me to work for shots when I didn’t have the bride and groom’s attention.  With Christina directing, I could relax and try to be creative.

I loved the bridesmaids dresses that Trisha chose for her friends.  No solid colors here, and definitely a dress they could each wear again.

I had a great time with these dancers.

Christina also let me play with her colored light gels.

Using the blue colored gels on my off-camera flash AND the bare flash on my camera body looked super cool.
