Jess and Jason are married!
For me, this spring has been full of weddings of high school sweethearts.
Jess and Jason started dating in high school and were married on Saturday at Pleasant Hills Community Presbyterian Church. Jess and Jason truly are best friends. After we met for their very adventurous engagement photos last summer, I was amazed at how comfortable they were together. We got together again to plan a little bit more of their wedding photography in May and I couldn’t believe how calm they were about their upcoming wedding. Calm, comfortable, relaxed and fun. A good recipe for a wedding, indeed.
Here are some of my favorite photos from their wedding.
I started my day with Jess and her bridesmaids. Jess’ hair and makeup by her sister, Bethany.
As his wedding gift to her, Jason presented Jess with every movie ticket, photo, concert ticket, love note, and keepsake that he had saved since their relationship began in high school. Wow!
And a gift for Jason, too. Photo by Nicki.
This flower girl loved the attention. She had to make another lap down the aisle.
Jess and her dad, Ron.
We stopped for photos in White Oak Park on the way to their reception.
They are so cute!
Jess and Jason make their grand entrance at Stratigo’s Banquet Center in North Huntington. Flowers by Elizabeth Lombardi’s Memories in Bloom.
Jess is “driving” while Jason totes empty cans and a “Just Married” sign on his rear.
They are so happy! Next two photos by Nicki

Jason breaks in and steals his bride!
A fantastic dance party!
Congratulations, Jess and Jason! Have a great time in Riviera Maya….

What a happy couple! I am just crazy about the second and third portraits of Jess and Jason. What a serene and beautiful spot for their photos. Also, big props to Jason for saving that trunkload of stuff. Wow!

Thank you SO much for photographing our wedding. You are ABSOLUTELY fantastic and Jason and I are so thankful for all you did on our wedding day. You truly are more than a photographer but an overall wonderful person.
