Most people think about what the weather will be like on their wedding day. Some people even get obsessed with monitoring the weather in the days leading up to their wedding. Tim has been thinking about the weather since he proposed to Heather. But not in the way you might think!
When Tim purchased Heather’s engagement ring, the jeweler had a policy in place that the cost of Heather’s engagement ring would be refunded if there was one full inch of rain on the wedding day. If this was a sensitive subject, I wouldn’t mention it. However, Tim mentioned his hope for rain to me during our first meeting together. It was mentioned while Tim was getting ready, during the portrait session, and in the speech from the Best Man. Well, Tim and Heather didn’t see any rain on their wedding day, but Tim obviously knows Heather is worth the cost of the ring, rain or shine.
Heather and Tim were married at St Paul’s Parish in Butler, Pennsylvania. They celebrated their union with an outdoor cocktail hour and lovely reception at Springwood Conference Center. Flowers were provided by Elizabeth at Botanical Emporium and reception music by DJ Master Gee.
When I arrived to photograph Heather and her bridesmaids, they were eating lunch! I do love to see people have time to relax and eat on their wedding day–especially since Heather was thoughtful enough to order an extra sandwich for me! Right after lunch, Nina Meston finished working on everyone’s hair and Julie from Pittsburgh Makeup helped with final makeup touches. Ryan joined me to photograph this wonderful wedding by starting his day with Tim and the groomsmen in Butler.
Congratulations, Heather and Tim!
