Diana and Phil’s Wedding at Phipps Conservatory and Cranberry Marriott Pittsburgh North
Diana and Phil really wanted to have a good plan for their wedding day. Especially Phil–he loves a good plan. I do too and I think that’s one of the reasons that Diana and Phil hired me to photograph their wedding. Having been in a number of weddings, they knew that wedding day schedules can be thrown off by anything–and they wanted to make sure their photography stayed on track.
While we were taking photographs, Phil was checking his watch to make sure things were moving smoothly (and they were). While I felt a little self-conscious, I learned during the toast from the best men that without restrictions, Phil would plan his life out all the way to his retirement. That’s why he married Diana, to help balance out his scheduling his life and leave room for spontainity.
Diana and Phil were married in a sunny and bright outdoor ceremony at Phipps Conservatory. While the photos are spectacularly sunny, the air was cool and comfortable and everyone enjoyed sitting out in the sun for their ceremony. Their wedding reception was held at Marriott Pittsburgh North in Cranberry. The excellent staff served a wonderful dinner and were served wedding cake provided by Oakmont Bakery.
Thanks to Nicki who joined me to photograph this enjoyable wedding day. We were thrilled with the weather for this outdoor wedding. Not only was it a dry wedding day with lovely puffy white clouds, it was nice and cool. A definite treat for us since the Memorial Day weekends of the previous two years brought extreme heat and humidity. Thanks for your weather wishes, Diana and Phil.
Congratulations on your beautiful wedding, Diana and Phil!
