Kayt and Harry are engaged!
I just realized that my first engagement shoot of the year didn’t happen until February. Well again, a great way to start out the year with Kayt and Harry for their engagement shoot. We did the shoot entirely indoors, a relief for me since I had a bit of a cold, at a beautiful home in Fox Chapel. Kayt and Harry are so happy and easygoing. Tina and John’s Winter White Wedding at The Priory
Shooting Tina and John’s wedding was a great way to start my year. A beautiful couple, a fun wedding party, and some great locations really started things off right. I started my day with Tina, her bridesmaids, and her family to photograph some very important preparations. Though I don’t like to interfere too much with what is going on during the preparations, the lighting in this room was so great. I asked Tina if she would mind putting her dress on in this room instead of a bedroom with one shaded window–as a reward, she gets some nice lighting! Gabe
Gabe just celebrated his first birthday on January 4th. I got to meet him and his wonderful family last weekend at their home for a photo shoot. Gabe had a morning nap (I’m jealous) and lunch before I arrived. He was ready to play! Gabe is sure to be a lady killer with those beautiful blue eyes What a beautiful home! For a beautiful family Gabe loves to look at mom and dad’s wedding photos. Happy Birthday, Gabe. Have a great time on your way to 2!

Baby Aksel
I’ve been meeting a ton of babies lately. And lots of babies with cool, European names. Most recently, it was Aksel–Courtney and Bjorn’s first son. He is such and adorable baby with a lot of spiky black hair. You can really see the extent of the black hair in these next two. Courtney is so beautiful. I can’t believe she had a baby just a week before this photo was taken. She looks great! Welcome Aksel! And congratulations to Courtney and Bjorn!

2010 in Kisses, Hugs, and Cheers!
