    Turkey Bowl 2009

This year’s Turkey Bowl was awesome! This is the third year for the event and the best yet.  Flag (aka tube sock) football played on a 40-yard long field (often crooked) on Thanksgiving morning.  Each team has a QB or sometimes the two teams share a quarterback.  Only one running play is allowed per set of downs.  There is one “first down” progression and everyone is a receiver.  Sometimes there is a huddle, but no set plays, really.  Pretty much the best way to play football. Here is event organizer ( and best sister ever, Nicki) modeling this year’s shirts. The black team waiting to play.  A fierce bunch.  Uncle…

    ShotBox

Hi everyone!   ShotBox is something new that I’m offering for as an additional service for wedding receptions and events in 2010.  ShotBox is a photographer controlled portable studio- AKA a super fun place to be! So here is the deal–I would set up the ShotBox for your reception starting at cocktail hour.  A photographer is running the ShotBox and directing you and your guests to do really fun and creative things.  Get in there for some fun portraits, large group shots, lots of dancing and getting crazy.  ShotBox would be “closed” during dinner and major wedding events like your cake cutting, first dance, and etc.  So the focus is still…

Hi! In April 2008, Ryan and I were fortunate enough to be able to purchase our first home. If you’ve been asking for pictures of my house, here they are. A year later, we’re nearly done working on it! Ryan and I wouldn’t have bought this home if my dad were not my dad. My dad, Rich, has given us so much help, work, advice, and love that we want to make art in his honor. I thought I’d start with these “before, during, and after” photos. My family did most of the work on the house–with help from my dad’s crew. Many of my friends gave helped with painting,…

    Happy July 4!

Happy 4th of July! Ryan and I enjoyed a picnic at my aunt and uncle’s house (that is where we met baby Timmy). Here is a view of their pool. Next we crashed the Paull’s picnic and hung out late into the night. Erin Paull, so pretty. We had such a great time and I got to meet some of her family including Elizabeth (right) who is in Erin’s wedding. After sunset. This is JP on the right. Happy fireworks!
