Summer Fruits
Here is an update on my tomato plants that I grew from seed this spring. All of the seeds came from the Seed Savers Exchange and the mature plants are doing great.
We’ve had at least 10-12 quarts of these babies.
And about 50 of of these big mamma jammas. Nicki and I just used 40 of them to make salsa (video coming soon, after Labor Day).
Rebar stakes necessary for these heavy plants.
More like a “tomato hedge” than just plants.

Wow Randi!! Your garden went crazy since we were there! Awesome, awesome. I am dying to make a big heirloom tomato salad, so if you have too many to handle, I’ll gladly help!! 🙂
Can’t wait to see the salsa video. Sounds fun!

the tastiest tomatoes ever. those plants just want to grow, that is their job and they are good at it. they started as tiny seeds in randi’s hand and now they are a huge tomato forest. careful when going in find the tasty fruit. yum
