Saturday was a perfect day for a wedding–a holiday weekend and a beautiful day! I had worked with Holly’s sisters Michelle (Maid of Honor) and Katie on a family photo shoot last fall. I was excited to see them again and was happy that some of the kids remembered me. Holly and Shawn were married in the south hills of Pittsburgh in a Serbian Orthodox wedding ceremony. On Saturday I traveled to the south hills to photograph Jessi and Benjamin’s wedding. Perhaps you remember Jessi and Benjamin in July from their Engagement session in the Strip District from July. They are SO MUCH FUN and I was very happy to be with them. Jessi’s awesome dress. Jessi putting on her beautiful dress. I love Keagan on the phone. Real laughs Jessi and Benjamin saw each other at a private meeting before the wedding. They got to spend a few moments alone. Truly a rare occasion on a wedding day. Alison and Paul’s Maine Wedding
I just got back from a great trip to New England for Alison and Paul’s wedding. This past winter, Alison emailed me about photographing a wedding reception this October at the Heinz History Center. She told me that she and Paul were having a small destination wedding in Maine at the end of September and a larger reception in Pennsylvania. We talked and decided it would be best for me to travel with them to Maine (yay) and make one spectacular wedding album. Danielle and Tom get married!
Hi! I had a great day at Danielle and Tom’s wedding. I started the morning at Danielle’s parents home in Coraopolis. Danielle’s shoes, which she called “kicks.” What a cool bride. Danielle was so calm AND had an awesome manicure. She was very excited about her bracelet (the flower girl had a similar bracelet too). They had a lovely ceremony at Duquesne University where Danielle went to college. We took some photos on the campus afterwards. For me, all weddings are exciting and fun.
