Happy Father’s Day
Happy Father’s Day to Rich Dembski, the best dad in the world! Dad has given me many skills and gifts including my love of photography and my height. Me with “Mrs Claus,” who looks a lot like my dad. And John O as Mr Claus. Maybe dad and I still look similar in this photo, but Nicki looks WAAAYYY different. Nicki torturing dad Nicki on a swing And here he is working. A more recent photo from about a month ago, shot with my Canon G11. Dad and Ryan setting up a ladder to my roof. Dad did an incredible amount of work on our house. Photo by dad with…

Jennifer and Alex’s Wedding at the Barn at Fallingwater!
Jennifer and Alex were married at the Barn at Fallingwater on Saturday, June 12, 2010. They planned for an outdoor ceremony to begin at 4pm. The weather forecast for the day was uncertain, and at 3:30pm, they made the decision for an outdoor ceremony. I’m so glad that they did because it was beautiful! Even though the “game time” decision was stressful for them, an outdoor wedding was definitely part of their wedding day vision. Jenn and her bridesmaids sneak off to the ceremony. Jenn is such a gorgeous lady! This is beautiful!!!! These two didn’t need any encouragement from me to share a kiss or two…or three….or four….. After…

Shannon and Derek’s Engagement Photos in the Strip District
Sometimes, it rains on your engagement session. And sometimes it rains on your wedding day. While I can’t control when it rains (and IF I could, I would probably change careers, become corrupt, and make an insane amount of money), I can control when I’m going to photograph people for their Engagement Session. Sometimes there is only one day or time when we can get together, and I’m confident that I can make beautiful, fun photos for you at that time, no matter what the weather. But other times, when there is cloud-to-ground lightening…

Women (and Men) at Work
It’s been a year since I became Randi Voss, Full Time Photographer and I don’t think I could be happier. I love my new life and today I’m sharing photos from my time at “work.” Great thing about this job, is that sometimes my family is kind enough to come and shoot with me. My husband, Ryan, works with me often, and sister Nicki is starting to come to more weddings with me too. Both are excellent photographers AND models when I need to check lighting for a certain shot. Here, they are standing in where a bridal party is about to gather around. I don’t know what I like…

Holly and Shawn’s Serbian Orthodox Wedding in Pittsburgh
Saturday was a perfect day for a wedding–a holiday weekend and a beautiful day! I had worked with Holly’s sisters Michelle (Maid of Honor) and Katie on a family photo shoot last fall. I was excited to see them again and was happy that some of the kids remembered me. Holly and Shawn were married in the south hills of Pittsburgh in a Serbian Orthodox wedding ceremony. It was my first opportunity to photography a Serbian Orthodox service, and I was very excited for this new challenge! First, I joined Holly and her bridesmaids at her parents’ home while she got ready. She already had her hair and makeup done…
