Kelci and Andy’s Wedding at The White Barn
Not everyone loves planning a wedding. Weddings are big, time consuming, expensive events with a lot of work and complicated family dynamics. Kelci and Andy, however, loved planning their wedding. Especially Kelci. In the days leading up to their wedding, I’d ask Kelci how she was feeling and the answer was always positive. When a lot of couples might say “I can’t wait for the day to be here/over,” Kelci would say “I’m so exited! I wish my wedding day would last forever!” After their wedding, Kelci’s facebook status said “So…yesterday was the best day ever! More perfect then I could even imagine! Andy and I were married outside in…

Lindsy and Steve’s Wedding at Lingrow Farm
Lindsy and Steve wanted to spend a lot of time with their wedding guests. Lindsy’s family is from northeastern Pennsylvania, Steve’s family is from New Jersey, they have lots of friends who live in Pittsburgh, as well as other friends they met when they attended West Virginia University together. Like most couples, their wedding day was the first time when all of these important people would be in the same place. They ensured they would have lots of time for visiting with everyone by taking lots of portraits before the ceremony and extending their cocktail hour. Lindsy and Steve were married in an outdoor ceremony at Lingrow Farm in Leechburg,…

Lauren and Colin’s Wedding at The Carnegie Library of Carnegie
I’m pretty spoiled to have nearly-exclusive use of Nicki’s services as a second photographer (really spoiled, actually). Once again, one of Nicki’s close friends was getting married and Nicki was going to be her wedding photographer. This is becoming such a frequent occurrence that I’ll be making a very exciting announcement within the next month about Nicki’s involvement in Randi Voss Photography. Today I’m sharing Lauren and Colin’s wedding photos on Nicki’s behalf. Since I did not attend this wedding, I’ll let Nicki tell you all about it. “I’ve known Lauren since middle school. She is a good friend who has been dating Colin for a few years. When I…

Hannah and Alex’s Wedding at The Circuit Center Ballroom
Hannah and Alex met while dancing — but not dancing at a wedding or a nightclub. They were both members of swing dancing and ballroom dancing clubs. Not only do they have fantastic dance moves, but their wedding party was full of excellent dancers too. When they were planning their wedding, they chose their reception location, The Circuit Center, because of the large dance floor. Hannah and Alex were married in the absolutely beautiful Smithfield United Church of Christ on Smithfield Street in downtown Pittsburgh. The church is amazing–full of Germanic Gothic Architecture. It’s obvious why Hannah had dreamed of being married there since she first visited the church a…

Heather and Jonathan’s Wedding at Heinz History Center and Pittsburgh Opera
Heather and Jonathan live in Boston but they both grew up in Pittsburgh. Their families live in Pittsburgh so they decided to return for their non-traditional, industrial-looking wedding last weekend. I was so honored to be a part of this unique event full of happy, excited people! Nicki and I spent a few minutes setting up the First Look where Heather and Jonathan would see each other for the first time on their wedding day. As soon as we gestured for Heather to move towards Jonathan, she sprinted towards him as I barely had time to get in position for my shot. She moved fast in those wedding shoes! When…
