Chrissy and Sean’s Wedding at Saint Vincent Basilica and Ligonier Country Inn
Chrissy and Sean’s wedding day ended with a fantastic party. Upon meeting them and getting to know them during their engagement photo shoot, I knew that everything would be beautiful and fun. But I had no idea that the reception would be so amazing and crazy! Their wedding day began with helpful, supportive friends and family in a beautiful setting. Their ceremony, held at Saint Vincent Basilica, was performed by Sean’s grandfather. After a great outdoor portrait session in this hot summer heat, they held their reception at Ligonier Country Inn where they partied late into the night. In the morning, I met Chrissy and her bridesmaids at her aunt’s…

Lauren and Danny’s Wedding at Heinz History Center
Lauren and Danny had a picture perfect Pittsburgh Wedding. They began with a wedding ceremony at Heinz Chapel and ended with a wedding reception in the Mueller Center at Heinz History Center.Surrounded all day by a fantastic group of family and friends. Nicki and I started our day at the Westin hotel. I joined Lauren and her very calm, organized bridesmaids (not kidding about this–they were so calm and prepared). Nicki spent the first part of her day with Danny and the groomsmen. Lauren is amazingly beautiful! At Heinz Chapel When the bride and groom leave the ceremony, they have about 20 seconds alone together before they’re joined by the…

DeAnna and Tony’s ShotBox
If you look back to DeAnna and Tony’s wedding earlier this week, you’ll see what a fun group of family and friends surrounded this wonderful couple. That group of family and friends got to “exercise their crazy” in ShotBox during the cocktail hour and wedding reception. The ShotBox background is a white seamless paper backdrop that can get knocked around by a rowdy crowd. The Randi Voss Photography team was taking bets on how many times the backdrop would get knocked over. The answer: 2. The second was a group of likely suspects, but the first was this group of sober ladies. A fake punch turned real! Sorry, ladies. He’s…

DeAnna and Tony’s Wedding at Twelve Oaks Mansion
DeAnna and Tony met in high school. They knew each other through friends, but it wasn’t love at first sight. While Tony described himself as “a big cuddly bear,” DeAnna described him as “boisterous.” While both of those things may be true, they have found happiness with each other. Their relationship is strong and their compatibility is so obvious. DeAnna and Tony had their wedding at Twelve Oaks Mansion in Mars, Pennsylvania. In one of my favorite wedding day schedules, they had the ceremony and reception at the same location, allowing more time for photography and visiting with their guests. The girls relaxed while getting ready at the Four Points…

Rachel and Mike’s Wedding at the Heinz History Center
Rachel and Mike really have some great people in their lives. They have loving families and a great group of friends. They had a great group of vendors working on their wedding day. And they have each other. Together they enjoy renovating their classic home, spending time with friends, and cruising in their car. I was looking back at my notes on our first meeting together and I have more notes about the car than their wedding day details! The car is a Datsun 280Z that they take to the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix each year in Schenley Park. The “Zipper” is super cool and looked great parked outside of…
