Briana and Tim’s Wedding at Bethany College
Oh, October. Such a wonderful time for a wedding with little rain and beautiful weather. This Saturday, it was finally time for Briana and Tim’s wedding at beautiful Bethany College. This is where it all began for their relationship, so what a great place to have their wedding. Not only is the campus very important to them, but it is also super beautiful with great architecture and greenery. I am so glad I got to share their wedding day with them! Since I haven’t posted one in a long time—a dress shot. I’m so glad I carried this dress outside, stole a chair from a computer lab, hung up the…

Meghan and Seth’s Greek Orthodox Wedding at Seven Oaks Country Club
Saturday was finally the day for Meghan and Seth to “go to the chapel!” Meghan, Seth, their bridal party, and their parents were so excited about their wedding day. Every email message, facebook post, phone call, and meeting we had up until the big day was filled with excitement, emphasis on detail, and the words “love,” “Seth,” and “fun.” One of my favorite parts of the planning was the emails I would receive from Meghan’s mom always contained the phrase “We’re going to the chapel!” And on Saturday, they did. When I arrived, the girls were well on their way to getting ready. Their hair appointments by Right Angles and…

Alison and Josh’s Wedding in Mill Run, Pennsylvania
Alison and Josh were married last Saturday at Grandma’s Gift in Mill Run, Pennsylvania. Inviting their 40 closest friend and family, they celebrated their nuptials with an outdoor ceremony, a fantastic dinner, and a bonfire. They chose to see each other before the ceremony with a “First Look.” They really wanted to attend their cocktail hour, so taking many photos before the ceremony allowed them more time for snacking and socializing……two things that I love to do too. This place was insanely beautiful. They were really happy to be getting married. We went to take some photos by this fence, but the pony was stealing the show. A little laugh…

DeAnna and Tony’s Engagement Session in the Strip District
Oh DeAnna and Tony. When they came over to my home for an interview, the 2.5 hour conversation passed quickly through interesting subjects (for all of us) like their wedding, their friends, and food. They are both foodies and what better place for their engagement photos that Pittsburgh’s center for food–the Strip District. I had an absolutely wonderful time taking these photos. Tony was especially hilarious for some of their first photos. Has anyone seen this mural lately? It’s new (near 20th and Penn) and it’s looking pretty good. But not as good as these two. They are so playful and really enjoy each other. Oh 50mm lens, you are…
